Celeron 300 (Case 1) Celeron 300 Review is up at last after much gathering of information. First of all, let's take a look at the Wintune 98 results of this processor which was run on a Chaintech 6BTM by one of the fellow forum contributors (CABSTAR). Results This was done at 66 x4.5 (original setting) CPU (1) Intel Pentium II with MMX@300 MHz Area Tested Value

Overclocking Most of the readers are concerned about whether Celeron 300 can be overclocked to 450mhz and above. The are some who achieved 450mhz. But most of the users have not been able to pass the 374 Mhz mark. So, if you're thinking of overclocking, a Celeron 266 would be a better buy in terms of price and overclockability (at least it has been proven it can reach at least 400Mhz or even 448Mhz). The online testing and comparison of your overclocked machines can be done at http://www.winmag.com/wintune98
